about

Isosceles is part of the new breed of Lesotho-based emcees who are driven by a desire to break the stereotype of their country always being over-looked in social and cultural circles on the global stage. Seeing themselves as equal to anyone else in the world, this breed is intent on making a mark that shall be felt way beyond the confines of their immediate environment.

This EP was recorded over a week's period with the assistance of Core Wreckah, a fellow emcee who, like Isosceles, is also seeking to thrive within Lesotho's social spectrum. Isosceles' direct take on oft-complex subjects (being undermined, societal decay, the need to love and be loved) invites even the most casual of listeners to spend time in digesting what he has to say. Production is handled by Nutz, Raymo, and Cymptom. A borrowed Pete Rock beat also finds its place firmly amongst this brilliant selection of producers, enabling Isosceles to paints vivid images with every line which emanates from his lips.

If anything, Isosceles' 'Untitled EP' serves as a launching pad for better song structures and incremetally futuristic production on future work.
